In this tale two women claw their way from obscurity. Winnika’s veins swim with a mystical power-- reserved for centuries only for the Order of the Mage, yet she is more than a Mage and therefore a dire threat to those in power. Fajra’s heart is torn between her Mother’s good legacy and the man who saved her from certain death, who raised her to be a ruthless leader. Finding each other among the chaos of a decaying country, they are faced with the choice to act, and in turn, to save their people. They must learn who the real enemy is and, more importantly, who they can finally trust.

A cursed medicine woman named Fia has lost her entire family to the Singing Mists of a nearby bog. When the last of her kin, her young niece, is taken by the bog she begrudgingly allies with a stranger named Oran to rescue her.

This will lead her on an epic journey to gain the strength needed to face the God of Bog and live.

But perhaps, her enemies are closer than they seem.
